Branch Manager Maspeth Federal Savings \xe2\x80\x93 Maspeth, NY The Branch Manager is accountable for day-to-day operations of the branch and working with the Branch Assistant Manager with managerial and administrative functions. Provides support, guidance, and training to staff. The Branch Manager is responsible for initiating relationships within the community and building the customer base of the branch. Responsibilities \xc2\xb7 Ensures a well-functioning, cohesive team of retail employees who provide optimal customer service \xc2\xb7 Provide coaching, training, and regular feedback to all branch employees \xc2\xb7 Manages branch employee schedule \xc2\xb7 Monitors and supervises branch activity involving equipment, safe deposit boxes, cash on hand, and branch maintenance \xc2\xb7 Oversees audit procedures to ensure compliance with controls. Report any weaknesses to Director of Retail Banking \xc2\xb7 Ensures that the branch is in compliance with federal laws and regulations set forth by the Comptroller of Currency and other regulatory agencies \xc2\xb7 Administers the security and safety of the branch. Responsible for all staff members following applicable policies and procedures \xc2\xb7 Builds relationships within the community as a representative of Maspeth Federal \xc2\xb7 Initiates outreach to potential and existing customers of the bank \xc2\xb7 Advocates for an exemplary customer experience. Resolves elevated customer complaints as needed \xc2\xb7 Performs other duties as necessary Qualifications \xc2\xb7 Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s or Associate\xe2\x80\x99s Degree \xc2\xb7 A minimum of five years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in branch operations and 3 years\xe2\x80\x99 supervisory experience \xc2\xb7 Proven leadership, coaching, and teambuilding skills \xc2\xb7 Proven success building and maintaining customer relationships \xc2\xb7 Strong organizational skills \xc2\xb7 Must be able to sit, walk or stand for extended periods \xc2\xb7 Must be able to travel to branch locations for business related matters Maspeth Federal Savings is committed to a diverse and inclusive workplace.
