Position Summary



The Bookkeeper is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records and supporting daily accounting operations. This role ensures timely processing of transactions, reconciliations, and reporting in compliance with company policies. The Bookkeeper will work closely with operations, procurement, and leadership to ensure financial accuracy, traceability, and strong internal controls across all business activities.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities



Record daily financial transactions including AP, AR, payroll entries, and journal entries Maintain general ledger accuracy and support monthly close activities Perform bank, credit card, and loan account reconciliations Process vendor bills, expense reports, and customer invoicing Monitor cash flow and assist with cash forecasting Maintain organized financial records and supporting documentation Support audits, tax preparation, and external accountant requests Maintain proper segregation of duties and internal controls Assist with budget tracking and variance reporting Support ERP/accounting system integrity (e.g., QuickBooks Enterprise, QBO, NetSuite, etc.)

Required Qualifications



Associate degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience) 3+ years of bookkeeping or accounting experience Strong understanding of accounting principles Experience with accounting software (QuickBooks strongly preferred) Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools High attention to detail and accuracy Strong organizational and time-management skills Ability to handle confidential information responsibly

Preferred Qualifications



Experience in aerospace, manufacturing, MRO, or supply-chain environments Familiarity with multi-entity accounting Experience with inventory accounting and job costing Sales tax and multi-state compliance experience Prior experience working with auditors and tax professionals

Pay: $23.97 - $28.87 per hour
