Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations to identify behavioral needs and develop tailored intervention strategies.
Implement evidence-based behavioral therapy techniques grounded in applied behavior analysis principles to support clients' developmental goals.
Collect, analyze, and document data meticulously during therapy sessions to monitor progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
Collaborate with families, caregivers, educators, and healthcare professionals to ensure consistency and effectiveness of interventions across settings.
Provide supervision, training and mentorship to registered behavior technicians and other team members on ABA techniques, data collection methods, and ethical practices.
Maintain accurate medical documentation, patient records, and HIPAA-compliant confidentiality standards at all times.
Conduct intake assessments for new clients, ensuring thorough understanding of each individual's needs and goals.
Participate in ongoing professional development activities related to behavioral health, special education, and medical terminology.
Support patient care by addressing behavioral health concerns with compassion, patience, and professionalism while adhering to all safety protocols.
Qualifications
Certification as a Board Certified Assistant Behavior Analyst (BCaBA) or equivalent credential.
Proven experience working with children or individuals with developmental disabilities, especially autism spectrum disorder.
Strong knowledge of applied behavior analysis (ABA), behavioral therapy techniques, and data collection methods.
Experience conducting patient assessments, diagnostic evaluations, and intake procedures within a behavioral health setting.
Familiarity with medical documentation standards, medical terminology, and maintaining HIPAA compliance.
Ability to work effectively with diverse populations including children with special needs and individuals requiring behavioral support.
Excellent communication skills for collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, families, and caregivers.
