About the Role

We are seeking an experienced

Data Center Site Superintendent

to lead operations at our 20MW Bitcoin mining facility in Carson County, TX, which consists of 14 modular/mobile data centers. This role will oversee a team of 4 Data Center Field Technicians, ensuring safe, efficient, and reliable operations of ASIC miners, networking infrastructure, and site systems.

The Superintendent will be responsible for coordinating day-to-day site activities, supervising staff, managing workflow priorities, and serving as the primary point of contact between technicians, engineers, and senior management. This is a hands-on leadership role--you'll be both managing people and actively supporting technical troubleshooting and site operations when needed. This role is a W2 employment position with starting pay of $35/hour. Only legally required benefits under Texas law are provided, including Social Security and Medicare contributions, unemployment insurance contributions, and workers' compensation coverage. No additional benefits such as health insurance, paid time off, or retirement plans are offered. This is a contract role with an estimated duration of 1 year.

Key Responsibilities

Team Leadership & Oversight: Supervise, train, and coordinate a team of 4 Data Center Field Technicians. Assign tasks, track progress, and ensure work is completed safely and efficiently. Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members.

Site Operations Management: Oversee daily operations of 14 mobile data centers housing ASIC miners. Ensure preventive maintenance schedules are followed. Verify uptime, environmental conditions, and system performance targets are met. Collaborate with engineers and contractors on electrical, cooling, and infrastructure needs.

Technical Support & Troubleshooting: Support advanced troubleshooting of miner hardware, power systems, and networking issues. Manage escalation of critical issues and coordinate repairs/replacements. Maintain spare parts inventory and authorize parts usage.

Reporting & Communication: Generate daily and weekly site reports covering uptime, issues, and repairs. Serve as the on-site contact for management and external partners. Ensure accurate incident logs and work documentation are completed by the team.

Safety & Compliance: Enforce OSHA and site safety protocols. Conduct site safety meetings and ensure technicians follow procedures. Maintain clean, organized, and secure work areas.

Qualifications

Required:

4+ years of experience in data center operations, IT infrastructure, or field service.

1-2 years of experience in supervisory or team lead roles.

Strong knowledge of hardware repair, network troubleshooting, and data center operations.

Ability to coordinate workflow, manage priorities, and oversee multiple technicians.

Comfortable working in industrial/outdoor environments.

Preferred:

Direct experience with Bitcoin mining hardware (Bitmain Antminer, Whatsminer, etc.).

Familiarity with high-density electrical distribution and HVAC/cooling systems.

Technical certifications (CompTIA, Cisco, or equivalent).

OSHA 10/30 or other safety training.
