Birth Tissue Recovery Technician
Job Description
telaGen helps Mothers provide the gift of donation to donor recipients and was created to expand the opportunity for more Mother\xe2\x80\x99s to give the gift of healing to those in need. We are looking for energetic and motivated individuals to become part of our industry leading tissue recovery team. Candidates should possess a strong and proven work ethic. Attention to detail and strong communication skills are a must. Reliable transportation required. This position is responsible for the recovery of birth tissues and completing all the required paperwork. Responsibilities include but not limited to: \xc2\xb7 Must be able to communicate confidently with physicians, nurses, and patients.
\xc2\xb7 Complete informed consent, donor screening and acceptability with potential donors.
\xc2\xb7 Using aseptic technique and following procedures to recover birth tissues.
\xc2\xb7 Ability to work in an operating room setting.
\xc2\xb7 Adhere to set telaGen protocols that meet FDA regulations.
\xc2\xb7 Complete donor chart documentation and follow good documentation practices.
\xc2\xb7 Basic computer skills. Benefits:
