Job Description


POSITION SUMMARY The Bingo Supervisor is responsible for organizing and overseeing the efficient and smooth operation of all aspects of Bingo games and ensures a high standard of customer service. The following is a list of the main duties and responsibilities. However, other duties may be assigned as deemed necessary by management. All duties must be performed in accordance with local, State, Federal and Tribal requirements, as well as the organization\'s internal controls, policies and procedures.
KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Program Administration

  • Ensure no family members of any staff participate in Bingo games in any capacity.
  • Maintain a thorough knowledge and compliance with internal Bingo controls processes and procedures.
  • Manage inventory control; submit supply orders to Bingo distributor in a timely manner.
  • Oversee setup and clean-up of Bingo Hall, including communication with custodial service when needed.
  • Ensure that a clean, safe, and organized environment is maintained in the Bingo game area in compliance with Bingo safety standards (ex. Access to Bingo area and designated entry/exits).
  • Maintain a consistent, regular attendance record for each Bingo game.
  • Develop and maintain a database of Bingo customers.
  • Plan and execute special events for holiday games.
  • Determine and communicate specials, door prizes, giveaways, and other incentives to recruit Bingo players.

Resource Management
  • Plan and prepare for weekly games including paper, tablets, and other gaming items.
  • Approve jackpots and payouts and ensure that all appropriate forms are completed.
  • Reconcile cash and credit at the end of each game.
  • Resolve customer complaints regarding problems such as payout errors.

Leadership & Supervision
  • Monitor Bingo staff/volunteers to ensure that Bingo games are adequately staffed for each shift, arranging for staff breaks and substitute employees as necessary.
  • Develop and clarify Bingo staff performance standards.
  • Report to Director performance evaluations of all Bingo Team Members, direct work, provide consistent feedback, and enforce performance standards.
  • Assist in recruiting Bingo staff.
  • Engage respectfully with Bingo customers, the public, vendors, and staff.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS
  • High School Diploma or GED preferred.
  • Must be extremely numbers oriented.
  • Must be able to multi-task.
  • Excellent Customer Service skills.
  • Must have ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
  • Ability to work independently and use good judgment.
  • Proven knowledge, training and/or experience with Bingo required.
  • Basic knowledge of all current house procedures.

WORK ENVIRONMENT
The work environment characteristics described here are representative of those an employee encounters while performing the essential functions of this job.
  • While performing the duties of this job the noise level in the work environment is usually moderate to loud. You may be subject to secondhand smoke when in the casino environment.


REGULATORY AND COMPLIANCE RESPONSIBILITIES

In addition to the other duties described herein, each employee has the following responsibilities related to compliance with laws and regulations:
  • Obtain and maintain a License B with Spokane Tribal Gaming Commission.
  • Attending required training sessions offered by the Casinos.
  • Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations.
  • Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
  • Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the employee\'s department.
  • Consult Internal Control Procedures and Policy Manuals for guidance.
  • Report illegal activity to Security or the appropriate levels of Management.
