Job Description

We are seeking a skilled and experienced BIM Manager to join our construction team in Columbus, OH area. This position is onsite and not remote. The BIM Manager will oversee the implementation of Building Information Modeling (BIM) on all construction projects and will be responsible for leading the BIM team. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of BIM software, construction management, and experience in managing and coordinating BIM processes on large construction projects.

Responsibilities:

• Manage and coordinate the BIM process on all construction projects
• Develop and implement BIM standards, processes, and workflows
• Lead the BIM team and provide guidance and support to team members
• Train and mentor team members on BIM software and processes
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, engineers, and contractors to ensure the successful implementation of BIM on all projects
• Manage the creation and maintenance of BIM models and coordinate with other departments to ensure accuracy and completeness
• Oversee clash detection and resolution processes using BIM software
• Review and analyze BIM models for constructibility, efficiency, and accuracy
• Prepare and present BIM reports to project stakeholders
• Stay up-to-date on emerging BIM technologies and trends and recommend improvements to the BIM process

• Bachelor\'s degree in Architecture, Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in BIM management and coordination on large construction projects
• Strong knowledge of BIM software, such as Revit, Navisworks, and AutoCAD
• Understanding of construction management and building systems
• Experience managing and leading a team
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Understanding of BIM standards
