CHA Consulting, Inc. is currently seeking a BIM Manager to join our Design Technologies Team from either Miami, FL; Atlanta, GA; New York, New York; Norwell, MA; Boston MA or to work remotely from home.

The Design Technologies team at CHA supports over 500 CAD Designers, Engineers, Project Managers and Scientists working on a variety of AECO projects. The Corporate BIM Manager for CHA\'s vertical design and construction practices will work to advance BIM adoption across multiple disciplines and software platforms. This position will focus on BIM standards development and implementation, creating project BIM execution plans, managing multi-disciplinary models, and coaching and mentoring project BIM Coordinators to ensure efficient model-based project delivery.


More specific responsibilities include establishing and leading regularly scheduled BIM/CAD committee meetings for CADD, GIS, and BIM modeling applications (Revit, PLS CADD, AutoCAD, CADWorx/Plant 3D, etc.). Additional responsibilities include performing QA/QC on multi-disciplinary models and outputs and development of contract language for GIS, CADD, and BIM deliverables and receivables.

  • Associate Degree in Engineering Technology or related technical field required, Bachelor\xe2\x80\x99s in Architecture or Mechanical Engineering or similar discipline preferred
  • Minimum of 10 years of experience in AEC design with knowledge of professional services for all stages of project delivery
  • Experience in multi-discipline (Architecture, MEP, Structure, Fire Protection & Security) BIM project lead role(s)
  • Experience with interoperability across Autodesk and Bentley products
  • Expert knowledge of and proven practical background in Autodesk Revit and peripheral BIM-enabled software
  • Familiarity with model-based cloud collaboration, particularly Autodesk Construction Cloud (ACC) BIM 360 to enable model management between offices and disciplines
  • Experience with 3D-model rendering and visualization applications such as Autodesk Rendering, Enscape, 3ds Max, Twinmotion, VRay, Lumion, etc.
  • Collaborate with Design Technology team members to develop custom application configurations to support workflow efficiency and quality
  • Familiarity with Computational Design applications such as Dynamo and Grasshopper
  • Detailed experience in developing training materials, delivering classroom-based learning, and mentoring or coaching project engineers, architects and designers on BIM workflows and Revit software
  • Familiarity with scan to BIM and point cloud workflow integration
  • Ability to travel (~10% of the time)
