The Recruiter is responsible for full-cycle recruitment and onboarding for primarily hourly positions across warehouse operations, inventory, shipping and receiving, maintenance, and administrative/front office functions. This role manages job postings, candidate screening, interview coordination, offer preparation, onboarding compliance, and new hire orientation.
The Recruiter works independently while maintaining close communication with hiring managers and the HR Manager to ensure hiring and onboarding processes are compliant, efficient, and aligned with organizational needs. This position may also support salaried-level recruiting coordination and assist in the development and maintenance of consistent job descriptions.
What You'll Do
Post and manage job openings on the company website, Indeed, LinkedIn, and other job boards
Review applications, conduct phone screens, and coordinate interviews
Partner with hiring managers to understand roles and staffing needs
Prepare and extend job offers
Manage onboarding tasks including I-9s, E-Verify, background checks, drug screens, and pre-employment physicals
Meet with new hires prior to orientation to complete onboarding steps and provide system access
Assist employees with HR portal access, W-4 completion, and direct deposit setup
Lead new hire orientation
Attend job fairs and career fairs to identify recruiting opportunities
Maintain recruiting and onboarding records in the HRIS/ATS
Assist with job description development and consistency
What We're Looking For
Bilingual in English and Spanish (required)
Minimum 2 years of recruiting or human resources experience, preferably in high-volume or hourly workforce environments (required)
Experience recruiting for hourly roles (operations, warehouse, maintenance, administrative, or similar environments)
Experience with onboarding compliance (I-9, E-Verify, background checks, drug screens)
Experience using an HRIS or Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Comfortable working independently and engaging with hiring managers
Willingness to attend job fairs and recruiting events
Experience with UKG and/or KPAY is a plus
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
On-site office environment with occasional off-site recruiting events
Ability to lift up to 25 pounds
Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods
