Join our Human Resources team as an Benefits Coordinator (HR Technician I/II - Confidential), where you'll play a key role in supporting the administration of employee benefits programs. This position provides technical and administrative support to ensure accurate processing, excellent customer service, and compliance with organizational policies and regulations. The County is seeking candidates who are interested in serving in the role of Benefits Technician as a backfill during the County's ERP implementation.
Under general supervision, performs paraprofessional, technical, and administrative work relating to county-wide human resources programs, including recruitment and selection, compensation, benefits, employee relations, performance management, compensation, risk management, HR information systems, and training.
Employees in this Confidential classification contribute to the development or implementation of the County's employee relations policies and/or in the course of their duties have access to information relating to the County's administration of employer-employee relations. Under State law and the County Employee Relations Policy, Confidential employees have different rights of representation than those of other non-management employees.
