Providence, RI, Pawtucket, RI, Central Falls, RI (please note: you may be placed at any of our sites that have openings or be expected to float to other sites)

Mental Health and Disabilities Manager

Employment Type:

Full-Time- 37.5-40 hours per week

We are looking for a

Behavior Support Specialist

who thrives in a dynamic early childhood setting. This role is perfect for someone who wants to make a direct impact on the behavioral, social-emotional, and academic growth of young children--especially those with unique challenges and strengths.

What You'll Do:

Deliver

therapeutic and behavioral interventions

, including ABA strategies and de-escalation techniques. Partner with lead teachers to embed individualized plans into daily classroom life. Support children during instruction, play, transitions, dismissal--and every moment in between. Step in during classroom crises with calm, compassionate problem-solving. Track student progress through consistent, accurate documentation. Build

positive, trusting relationships

with children, families, and fellow educators. Collaborate in a trauma-informed, equity-centered environment.

What You Bring:

High School Diploma or GED required; CDA or associate degree in Early Childhood or related field preferred.

3-5 years of experience working with preschoolers with behavioral needs

; ABA experience a plus. Strong communication skills and a team mindset. Flexibility, empathy, and a deep belief in the potential of every child. Bilingual skills are a plus!
