Duties
Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently using POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS.
Engage with guests in a friendly manner, providing exceptional customer service tailored to their preferences.
Manage cash handling, cashiering, and basic math calculations accurately during transactions.
Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, adhering to food safety and food handling standards.
Restock supplies and monitor inventory levels to ensure smooth service operations.
Assist with event setups such as banquets or catering functions when required.
Uphold responsible alcohol service policies and ensure compliance with all licensing regulations.
Collaborate with team members to ensure timely service during busy nights or events like nightclub nights or special functions.
Demonstrate knowledge beverage options to enhance guest experience.
Skills
Proven experience with POS systems.
Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours.
Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests professionally in a fast-paced environment.
Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling, and responsible alcohol service.
Previous experience in fine dining, nightclubs, banquet settings, or catering is preferred.
Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and accurate billing.
