Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages according to standard recipes. Provide excellent customer service by engaging with guests, taking orders, and ensuring satisfaction. Operate POS systems (Aloha, Micros) efficiently for order entry and payment processing. Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies as needed. Adhere to all food safety regulations and guidelines while handling food and beverages. Manage cash handling procedures accurately during transactions. Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely service during busy periods, particularly for banquets and catering events. Demonstrate knowledge of brewing techniques and specialty cocktails to enhance the guest experience. Utilize time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during peak hours.

Qualifications

Previous bartending experience in a restaurant or nightclub setting is preferred. Familiarity with Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar systems is highly desirable. Strong customer service skills with an emphasis on hospitality and guest relations. Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and sales reporting. Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations within the food industry. Ability to work well under pressure while maintaining attention to detail. Experience in banquet service or catering is a plus. Must be able to work flexible hours, including nights and weekends.
