The Opportunity

Delaware North Sportservice is hiring full-time or part-time Bartenders to join our team at Elevate Catering in Atlanta, Georgia. As a Banquet Bartender, you will be responsible for serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages to guests at banquets and events responsibly while providing an excellent guest experience at all times.

Please note this is a tipped position, the hourly minimum pay listed doesn t include any potential tipped earnings.

Responsibilities

• Sets up portable bar with all the appropriate items as ordered and requested, including garnishes, glassware, ice, liquor, mixes, straws, napkins, etc.
• Pulls and sets up wine and champagne service for banquet servers for meal functions.
• Maintains bar supplies and glassware throughout the banquet function.
• Maintains a clean bar and surrounding area.
• Knows drink recipes, prices, and types of beverages available.
• Measures all drinks using a shot glass and encourages sales to patrons of the function.
• Properly records all spoilage, breakage, or spillage.
• Breaks down the portable bar and return the liquor to a secured location.
• Ensures all bar billing is accurate.
• Adheres to, local liquor laws and regulations.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years of age.
• At least one year experience bartending.
• Experience in credit card processing required.
• Previous experience using computerized POS system required.

Physical Requirements

• Ability to remain standing for entire length of shift.
• Constant walking, bending, reaching and repetitive motions.
• Ability to lift stock up to 50 pounds occasionally.
• Bar environment noise level may be moderate to high during busy times.
