Capacity Requirements:

Mental Capacity: Skills, learned abilities, training, experience, and knowledge.

Follow Flo's steps of service for all bar guests. Consistently use suggestive selling techniques. Present food and drink menus, possess full knowledge of bar and menu items and be able to make recommendations and answer questions regarding all aspects of the menus. Accurately take food and beverage orders from guests in a timely manner at the bar and lounge area. Deliver food and beverage orders within established time frames. Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with Flo's standard drink recipes. Maintain the company's high standards for cleanliness and sanitation in all areas of the bar including coolers, counters, sinks, utensils, shelves and storage areas. Maintain bottles and glasses in an attractive and functional manner to support efficient drink preparation and promotion of beverages. High School diploma or GED Minimum of 1 year of experience operating a full service bar Strong knowledge of alcohol mixology, drink menus and classic cocktail preparation Ability to work in a fast pace environment Possess basic math skills and have the ability to accurately handle money and operate a POS system.


Physical Capacity: Stamina, physical demands, energy, and tenacity.

Must be at least 21 years of age Greet guests in a timely and professional manner Verify guests that purchase alcohol are at least 21 years of age. Accept guest payment, process credit card charges and make change (if applicable). Wash and sanitize glassware and bar utensils. Prep garnishes for drinks Report all equipment problems and bar maintenance issues to bar manager. Set up and maintain appropriate stock levels for the bar, assist with the restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies. Be available to fill in as needed to ensure the smooth and efficient operation of the restaurant as directed by the bar manager or management team. Ability to stand on feet for an extended period of time Be able to reach, bend, stoop and frequently lift up to 40 pounds.
