Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks with precision. Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS and Micros POS to process transactions efficiently and accurately. Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and offering recommendations. Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards in the cafe area, including food handling and preparation. Manage cash handling duties with accuracy, including cashiering and basic math calculations for transactions. Assist with food preparation tasks to support the overall cafe operations. Manage time effectively to handle multiple orders during busy periods while maintaining quality standards.

Qualifications

Previous barista experience or coffee industry knowledge is highly preferred. Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS is a plus. Strong customer service skills with a positive attitude and excellent communication abilities. Ability to multitask efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math, and transaction accuracy. Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling, and food preparation standards.
