Join our team as a Barista Shift Leader and take charge of creating exceptional coffee experiences while leading a dynamic team. Responsibilities

Lead by example during shifts, motivating team members to deliver outstanding customer service and efficient food and beverage preparation Oversee daily cafe operations, including opening or closing, and ensuring smooth workflow throughout your shift Manage cash handling, POS transactions using systems like Clover or Square, and ensure accurate cashiering procedures Support food safety protocols by adhering to proper food handling, preparation, and sanitation standards Assist customers with menu selections, answer questions about coffee and food offerings, and resolve any service issues promptly Train and mentor team members on coffee brewing techniques, serving standards, POS systems, and food safety practices Monitor inventory levels and coordinate with Owners to ensure the availability of coffee beans, food items, and supplies

Skills

Proven experience as a Barista (min 2 years) with strong knowledge of coffee preparation and cafe operations Familiarity with POS systems for efficient sales processing Excellent customer service skills with the ability to handle diverse guest needs professionally Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks during busy shifts effectively Basic math skills for cash handling, retail math calculations, and basic inventory management Knowledge of food safety standards, food handling procedures, and serving regulations in the food industry

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: From $17.00 per hour

Expected hours: 20 - 40 per week
