: Barista Roasting Plant Coffee is now hiring! Roasting Plant Coffee is currently searching for an experienced Barista for our 81 Orchard St. location in NYC\xe2\x80\x99s Lower East Side! About us: We\xe2\x80\x99re focused on becoming the world\xe2\x80\x99s first choice in freshly roasted coffee. We\xe2\x80\x99re a coffee-obsessed, high-tech team of innovative, humble, connected, and passionate people who believe in doing well, doing good and having fun. Every Roasting Plant Coffee shop roasts coffee onsite using our own proprietary invention called Javabot\xe2\x84\xa2. We travel all over the world in search of the highest-grade specialty coffee beans. We then roast in-house and brew every cup to order utilizing our state of the art roasting technology, delivering a \xe2\x80\x9cjust-roasted, just-brewed, just for you\xe2\x80\x9d experience for every customer, every time. The basics:

• MUST have a New York City Food Handlers Certificate
• Must have experience in coffee retail as a barista
• Have a positive attitude, super friendly and make customers happy
• Be able to stand for long periods of time
• Be able to ascend and descend stairs frequently
• Be able to lift up to 25 lbs
• Open availability including weekend shifts
