As we are rapidly growing, we are shifting to prioritize current baristas as selections for new General Managers of opening locations, and new leadership positions within our current ones! By the end of 2022, our goal is that 50% of our locations will be operated by team members who started at a barista level. Job brief We are looking for baristas to prepare and serve hot and cold beverages, including various types of coffee and tea. Barista responsibilities include educating guests on our drink menu, making recommendations based on guest preferences, upselling special items, and taking orders. To be successful in this role, you should have customer service skills and knowledge of how brewing equipment operates. You should also be able to work various shifts. Note: this position\xe2\x80\x99s compensation includes salary and tips. Ultimately, you\xe2\x80\x99ll ensure an excellent drinking experience for our guests. Responsibilities \xc2\xb7 Greet customers as they approach the window \xc2\xb7 Take orders while paying attention to details (e.g. preferences of coffee blend, dairy and sugar ratios) \xc2\xb7 Prepare beverages following recipes and customizations \xc2\xb7 Serve beverages and prepared food, like cookies, pastries and muffins \xc2\xb7 Receive and process payments (cash and credit cards) \xc2\xb7 Keep the bar area clean \xc2\xb7 Check if brewing equipment operates properly and report any maintenance needs \xc2\xb7 Comply with health and safety regulations, including sanitization regulations \xc2\xb7 Communicate customer feedback to managers and recommend new menu items Requirements \xc2\xb7 Previous work experience, with barista experience a plus! \xc2\xb7 Flexibility to work various shifts \xc2\xb7 Basic math skills \xc2\xb7 Ability to gauge customers\xe2\x80\x99 preferences \xc2\xb7 Excellent communication skills This Job Is:
