Responsibilities

Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, including equipment and workstations. Provide excellent customer service by greeting customers warmly and assisting with their orders. Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently while following proper cash handling procedures. Ensure compliance with food safety standards and regulations during food preparation and service. Assist with inventory management by monitoring stock levels and reporting any shortages. Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours. Engage with customers to promote new products or special offers.

Requirements

Previous experience in the food industry or cafe environment is preferred but not required. Strong sales skills with the ability to upsell products effectively. Basic knowledge of food preparation techniques and food safety practices. Proficient in cash handling and basic math skills for accurate transaction processing. Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced setting. A friendly demeanor with a genuine desire to help customers enjoy their experience. Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays as needed.

Pay: From $15.05 per hour
