Job Summary:

The Barista is responsible for preparing and serving coffee and other beverages to customers in a timely and friendly manner.

Pay Rate:

$13.80/hr + tips

Duties/Responsibilities:

Preparing and serving hot and cold drinks such as coffee, tea, artisan and specialty beverages. Cleaning and sanitizing work areas, utensils and equipment. Cleaning service and seating areas. Describing menu items and suggesting products to customers. Servicing customers and taking orders. Ordering, receiving and distributing stock supplies. Receiving and processing customer payments. Clean and restock workstations and ensure that all equipment is sanitized and prepared for thenext shift. Other related duties assigned as needed.

Ability to maintain consistent, predictable punctuality for shifts. Strong communication, time and resource management. Positive and approachable manner. Customer service skills and knowledge. High level of attention-to-detail. Basic math and computer skills. Enthusiasm to develop your skills and knowledge. Ability to work unsupervised and deliver quality work.

Education and Experience:

Related experience preferred but not required.

Physical Requirements:

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to work in hot, hectic environments. Prolonged periods of standing, walking, bending, using hands and appliances.

Pay: $18.00 - $30.00 per hour

Expected hours: 26.5 - 32.5 per week
