Duties

Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and specialty drinks with precision and flair Operate POS systems such as Clover, process transactions accurately and efficiently Handle cash, credit card payments, and perform cashiering duties while maintaining food safety standards Provide outstanding customer service by greeting guests warmly, answering questions, and ensuring satisfaction Maintain cleanliness and organization of the cafe area, including food handling and food preparation tasks Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve customers promptly while balancing food service responsibilities Assist with food handling, basic math calculations for sales and inventory, and retail math for stock management

Qualifications

Previous barista experience or strong coffee experience preferred; a passion for coffee culture is a plus Familiarity with POS systems such as Clover is highly desirable Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate clearly and positively Strong time management skills to handle multiple orders efficiently during peak hours Knowledge of food safety practices, food handling procedures, and basic math for cash handling and sales transactions Experience in food preparation, serving, or retail math is advantageous Ability to work flexible hours in a fast-paced cafe environment while maintaining a friendly demeanor
