Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and energetic Barback to join our vibrant team in a fast-paced nightclub environment. As a Barback, you will play a crucial role in supporting our bartenders and ensuring that our guests have an exceptional experience. This position is perfect for individuals who are passionate about the hospitality industry and eager to learn the ins and outs of bartending.

Responsibilities

Assist bartenders in preparing drinks and serving customers efficiently. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area, including washing glassware and restocking supplies. Handle cash transactions accurately and assist with cash handling procedures. Communicate effectively with team members to ensure smooth operations during busy shifts. Operate the Toast POS system for order entry and inventory management. Support catering events by setting up bars and serving drinks as needed. Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations within the bar area.

Qualifications

Previous experience in the hospitality or food industry is preferred, particularly in a nightclub or restaurant setting. Strong communication skills to interact with customers and team members effectively. Familiarity with cash handling procedures and basic math skills for accurate transactions. A willingness to learn about bartending techniques and drink recipes. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Flexibility to work nights, weekends, and holidays as required by the business needs.
