Job Summary:
Established in 1930, Kenwood Country Club is the premier family club in the Cincinnati area and one of the top Clubs in the Midwest. The club offers tremendous facilities including two championship, 18-hole golf courses, tennis, paddle tennis, state-of-the-art fitness center, an expansive pool and pavilion area, and a sophistically renovated clubhouse. The club has a total of 925 members and remains on a waitlist of approximately two years for social membership and five years for golf membership.

The club seeks to hire a Banquet Supervisor. The Banquet Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the setup, service, and breakdown of banquet events, ensuring high standards of service and guest satisfaction. This role involves hands-on leadership, supervising banquet servers, coordinating with kitchen and event teams, and ensuring a seamless experience for all guests and members.

Supervise and assist banquet servers and banquet bartenders with event setup, including table arrangements, buffet presentation, and beverage stations and mobile bars.
Oversee the placement of settings, and general readiness of the event space.
Coordinate with kitchen and event staff to ensure food and beverage service is timely, accurate, and up to quality standards.
Take an active role in guest service by greeting attendees, taking drink orders, and stepping in to serve as needed.
Monitor and direct banquet servers during meal service, ensuring proper timing for serving plated meals and clearing plates.
Ensure staff maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment throughout the event.
Serve as the main point of contact for clients and guests during events, handling any special requests or resolving issues promptly and professionally.
Train, coach, and support banquet staff to uphold service standards and team morale.
Assist with post-event breakdown, resetting event spaces, and reviewing event wrap-ups with management.
Turn in bar consumption sheets and finalize any cash bar sales, if applicable.
Enforce company policies, food safety regulations, and sanitation standards.
Help foster a warm, inviting atmosphere for all members and guests by modeling outstanding customer service.
Qualifications:
Prior experience in banquet service, with at least 1 year in a supervisory or leadership role.
Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
Must be able to lift up to 30 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.
Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.
