This Analyst position will see you provide deep insights and perspectives on the Banking and Capital Markets sector to EY leadership, participate in client meetings and external events to strengthen EY\xe2\x80\x99s presence and reputation in the market, and mentor more junior analysts to develop their commercial and analytical skills. Focus areas will include either Consumer Banking, Sustainable Finance, Private Banking, Payments, or Embedded Finance.

As a Banking & Capital Markets Industry Analyst, you will provide powerful insight to EY\'s Financial Services leaders and practitioners related to their external market positioning and client service. You will combine strong analytical skills and a strategic mindset with real-world perspectives driven by an understanding of client issues and broader marketplace drivers. You will have a key role to connect and collaborate across our global network of Knowledge Analysts along with our Industries and Service Lines business network to further strengthen the quality of your insights.
Your key responsibilities include:

• Engaging with and challenging EY senior leadership to provide commercial and provocative perspectives on the issues, challenges and opportunities facing our clients in the industry
• Co-creating insights beyond publicly available information, interacting with EY leaders and external networks to build proprietary data sets and evidence for differentiated points of view
• Leading/contributing to multidisciplinary teams for delivery of strategic and complex projects, often working virtually across industries, service lines and geographies

As a trend-watcher for the Banking & Capital Markets Industry, you will harness a natural curiosity about business models and emerging themes that are reshaping the Banking & Capital Markets sector to curate and co-create insights that empower our clients to act decisively.
We know it takes specialist skills to gather, generate and analyse a rich pool of information and turn it into powerful insights that give clear future-facing directions. You will be known for translating your big picture thinking and ability to explain complex concepts into crisp, clear, concise and graphic-rich communications, using appropriate analytics and visualization tools.
To qualify for the role, you must:

• Have 5+ years experience in researching trends in the Banking & Capital Markets industry
• Expertise in at least one of the priority Banking & Capital Markets focus areas of Consumer Banking, Sustainable Finance, Private Banking, Payments, or Embedded Finance
• Have deep analytic capabilities leveraged, including surveying and data storytelling, in support of EY\xe2\x80\x99s Banking & Capital Markets thought leadership agenda
• Have strong commercial acumen, able to connect client business issues with EY solutions
• Have experience in interacting with senior business leaders, leading conversations, and offering differentiating perspectives
• Have a proven ability to deliver succinct and structured oral and written communications

What we offer
The compensation ranges below are provided in order to comply with United States pay transparency laws. Other geographies will follow their local salary guidelines, which may not be a direct conversion of published US salary range/s.
We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you\xe2\x80\x99ll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The salary range for this job in most geographic locations in the US is $101,900 to $184,900. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $122,300 to $210,100. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Under our flexible vacation policy, you\xe2\x80\x99ll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances. You\xe2\x80\x99ll also be granted time off for designated EY Paid Holidays, Winter/Summer breaks, Personal/Family Care, and other leaves of absence when needed to support your physical, financial, and emotional well-being.
