Job Summary - Bakery Assistant (Babe's Bakery)
Babe's Bakery is seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Bakery Assistant to support daily operations in our busy bakery. The Bakery Assistant will help prepare baked goods, maintain a clean and organized workspace, assist customers at the counter, and ensure products meet our high-quality standards. This role requires enthusiasm for baking, teamwork, and strong attention to detail in both preparation and presentation.
Key Responsibilities:
Assist bakers with measuring, mixing, and preparing doughs, batters, and fillings. Operate bakery equipment safely and efficiently. Package, label, and display baked goods for sale. Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in accordance with food safety standards. Restock ingredients and supplies as needed. Provide friendly customer service and handle transactions when required.
Qualifications:
Some experience in food service or bakery settings preferred (training provided). Ability to work early mornings, weekends, and holidays. Strong work ethic and ability to follow directions. Excellent time management and communication skills.
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
Expected hours: 18.0 - 32.0 per week
