We are seeking a passionate and skilled Pastry or Baker to join our culinary team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pastry arts, with experience in baking. This role involves creating beautiful and delicious pastries, breads, ensuring high standards of food safety and quality.
Responsibilities
Prepare and bake a variety of pastries, cakes, and desserts following established recipes and standards
Assist in food production and food handling processes while maintaining cleanliness and safety standards
Support kitchen operations by preparing ingredients, measuring, and assembling components for baking
Ensure all baked items meet quality control standards before presentation or delivery
Maintain a clean and organized work station, adhering to food safety regulations
Collaborate with team members to meet production deadlines and customer expectations
Requirements
Proven experience in pastry arts, baking, or culinary roles within the food industry
Strong skills in baking, knife handling, and food presentation
Knowledge of food safety protocols and proper food handling procedures
Experience with food preparation, packaging, and kitchen operations
Excellent attention to detail and creativity in pastry decoration
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high standards of quality
Previous restaurant or catering experience is preferred
