Overview: The Identification Badge Access Control Specialist is responsible for managing the issuance, programming, deactivation, and auditing of ID badges and electronic access rights for employees, contractors, and visitors. This role ensures secure and compliant access to facilities in alignment with organizational security policies and regulatory standards. Qualifications:

Responsibilities:
Issue, modify, and deactivate identification badges and electronic credentials in access control systems.
Maintain accurate records for new hires, terminations, and department changes.
Troubleshoot badge-related access issues and provide user support.
Monitor system alerts and handle emergency lockdowns or overrides as necessary.
Coordinate with HR, IT, Facilities, and Security teams to enforce access control protocols.
Provide identification badge access reports to security-sensitive area leaders for review and validation.
Print and encode physical badges using appropriate printers.
Conduct periodic audits of access rights and resolve exceptions.
Support visitor management processes, including temporary badges and vendor access control.
Follow privacy and security protocols like HIPAA and facility confidentiality standards.
Manage the inventory of badge supplies and request replenishments as needed.
Performs general clerical duties.
