Job Description

Aerotek is hiring in multiple locations in Washington and Montana for experienced Avionics Technicians responsible for layout, install, troubleshooting/testing of Avionics packages for rotary-wing and General Aviation aircraft, including Airbus, Bell, Beechcraft and other models. End users include private & corporate owners, hospital and medevac organizations, and law enforcement.

Technician will install pre-kitted upgrades and repairs and wire harnesses by consulting blueprints, installing, terminating and extensive troubleshooting, and coordinating with other mechanics and inspectors to complete task cards.

Will also perform some lead functions such as advising other technicians on troubleshooting and installs, submitting tracking reports, and planning install schedule in partnership with maintenance leadership.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

Airframe license preferred

4+ years of Avionics installs and troubleshooting in on helicopters or GA aircraft

Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, layout and install avionics packages, terminate and troubleshoot aircraft wiring

Must own tools
