Baumann Auto Center in Port Clinton has an opportunity for a Parts Manager. We are especially interested in you if you have a passion for working in the automotive industry and have great people skills.

Interested candidates should be highly organized, have experience in dealership parts management, supply chain logistics, and automotive industry standards.
This role is vital in maintaining seamless dealership operations, supporting automotive service and repair activities, and fostering strong relationships with suppliers.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Manage and oversee the purchasing of parts, negotiating with suppliers to ensure competitive pricing and timely delivery. Utilize mechanical knowledge to accurately identify and order the correct parts for customers and internal use. Maintain accurate data entry for inventory control, tracking parts movement, and availability. Provide exceptional customer service by assisting with parts inquiries, orders, and returns. Manage relationships with suppliers, ensuring quality parts and timely deliveries. Utilize automotive diagnostics knowledge to assist in identifying parts needed for repairs and maintenance. Oversee warehouse management, organizing parts for easy retrieval and efficient operations.

Qualifications:

Proven experience in automotive dealership parts management or a similar role within the automotive industry. Ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers to secure favorable terms while maintaining quality standards. Excellent organizational skills with attention to detail in inventory management and logistics coordination.
