Job Description

Job Summary:
Responsible for the daily audit of various non-casino operating functions. Compute, classify and record numerical data to keep financial records complete. Perform any combination of routine calculating, posting and verifying duties to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining accounting records.

Duties:
- Responsible for verifying accuracy and correctness of figures, calculations and postings of all recorded transactions against original documents
- Review financial statements, invoices, and other accounting documents
- Verify the accuracy of financial data and resolve any discrepancies
- Prepare audit reports and present findings to management
- Collaborate with internal teams to implement audit recommendations
- Stay updated on changes in accounting regulations and industry best practices
- Responsible to reconcile reports to supporting documents in accordance with established internal gaming controls, as outlined on daily/weekly/monthly/annual checklists

Skills:
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Proficient in using auditing software and tools
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and ability to work with large amounts of data
- Knowledge of financial concepts and risk management
- Familiarity with financial services industry

Requirements:

-High School diploma or GED required
- Associates degree in Accounting or related field strongly preferred
- Casino experience is preferred but not require - Minimum 1 year experience in accounting or similar field
- Strong understanding of auditing principles and practices
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
