Job Description

SUMMARY OF POSITION




The Associate Product Manager is responsible for supporting the Product Manager team and assists with the launch and success of interior and exterior products. This role supports effort to ensure that products meet customer needs, align with the company's goals, and deliver measurable value. The Associate Product Manager is accountable for executing and finalizing projects within established deadlines and budgets. Also, the Associate Product Manager collaborates with internal teams and external partners, helping to track progress and share insights based on data-driven metrics.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



Product Development & Launch



Assist in identifying and validating opportunities for product growth by collecting customer feedback and market insights. Contribute to product lifecycle activities, including performance analysis, rationalization, and planning for product updates. Support product manager(s) in creating feedback loops with contractors and partners to guide strategy and ensure products solve real-world challenges. Collaborate with Product Development, Engineering, Marketing, Sales, and other teams to define product requirements and deliverables. Contribute to defining success drivers and align expectations across departments. Assist in refining product requirements, prioritizing features, and aligning launch timelines. Coordinate packaging, testing, and readiness deliverables to ensure launch milestones are met. Guide Sales and Marketing on launch strategy, including limited time offers, training, and soft launches/early feedback. Monitor product performance, gather feedback, and implement continuous improvements.



Insights & Reporting



Build and maintain industry intelligence through customer advisory boards, interviews, site visits, retail audits, and distributor/contractor relationships. Support the definition and tracking of KPIs for product launches and portfolio performance. Assist in preparing business cases and recommendations for product initiatives and/or product optimization. Translate data and insights into actionable recommendations that support decision-making and long-term growth for the product team and senior leaders. Track success metrics and share results across departments. Support Sales and Marketing teams with training materials, collateral, and customer feedback collection. Provide guidance and support to team members, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment. All other duties as assigned.





POSITION REQUIREMENTS

Education



Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, product management or related field. MBA is a plus. Minimum of two years of product management experience in a manufacturing environment. Project Management Certification is a plus.



Technical



Strong understanding of product lifecycle management and agile methodologies. Proficient in analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Demonstrated expertise in project management. Effective collaboration with cross-functional teams. Proficiency with the following tools and software: + Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, BI - intermediate proficiency)
+ Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets - intermediate proficiency)
+ Google Analytics - intermediate proficiency
+ Monday.com (project management software)
