Under the general direction of the Staff Services Manager I, the Associate Personnel Analyst serves as a full journey-level analyst who works with a high degree of independence performing the more responsible, varied, and complex human resources management work in the areas of classification and compensation for the Department. The incumbent provides consultation and assistance to management and employees in the interpretation and application of state civil service laws, rules, and related departmental policies and procedures. The incumbent interacts frequently with all levels of departmental personnel, as well as staff within the various control agencies.
The Associate Governmental Program Analyst certification list is being utilized to recruit for this position. Applicants with Associate Governmental Program Analyst certification list eligibility MUST also meet the minimum qualifications for the Associate Personnel Analyst classification in order to be eligible for an appointment.
