What you will do: \xe2\x80\xa2 Assesses the impact of competitive dynamics and points of parity / points of difference through competitive analysis \xe2\x80\xa2 Deploys resources to measure and monitor changes to marketing strategy to drive customer engagement \xe2\x80\xa2 Selects appropriate investigative or analytical methods to assess a market research project \xe2\x80\xa2 Trains others to follow a certain structural research process for conducting market research \xe2\x80\xa2 Utilizes market research and third-party data to identify key industry trends \xe2\x80\xa2 Synthesizes market trends and makes recommendations on sources of volume and strategic focus \xe2\x80\xa2 Trains team on the different approaches to segmentation \xe2\x80\xa2 Proposes updates and enhancements to the KPIs based of the analysis of metrics over time \xe2\x80\xa2 Researches market insights data and generates and interprets basic analytics \xe2\x80\xa2 Accurately forecasts resource needs for the team \xe2\x80\xa2 Manages vendors to support business needs \xe2\x80\xa2 Leads a team of professionals: develops employees, which includes hiring, communicating company policies, coaching and counseling, administering performance appraisals, and enforcing company policies through appropriate disciplinary measures \xe2\x80\xa2 Holds self and team accountable to deliver high quality results with passion, energy, and drive to meet business priorities \xe2\x80\xa2 Mentors, develops and inspires others \xe2\x80\xa2 Collaborates and influences others on cross-functional teams, advancing partnerships to achieve business objectives \xe2\x80\xa2 Contributes specific analyses to aid in the construction of the marketing plan: understanding the components of the Stryker marketing strategy framework and how they fit into strategy and marketing plans \xe2\x80\xa2 Links insights to key business decisions, writes prescriptive recommendations, and works with the business to ensure that those recommendations are activated \xe2\x80\xa2 Works with business partners to synthesize the organization\xe2\x80\x99s current accumulated knowledge set and identifies gaps that need to be filled in order to improve decision making Minimum Qualifications (Required): \xe2\x80\xa2 Bachelor\'s degree required \xe2\x80\xa2 6+ years of work experience required Preferred Qualifications (Strongly desired): \xe2\x80\xa2 MBA preferred \xe2\x80\xa2 3+ years of market research experience preferred \xe2\x80\xa2 Excellent presentation and interpersonal communications skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Strong analytical and problem-solving skills \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to manage multiple projects while delivering on established timelines \xe2\x80\xa2 Ability to be persuasive in the absence of organizational authority \xe2\x80\xa2 Must be able to understand and work within complex interdivisional procedures and policies \xe2\x80\xa2 Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word & PowerPoint)
