Summary:

The EMES Software Library & Interfaces Lead owns the end-to-end lifecycle of the EMES Syncade Library Object and Interfaces. This role owns and manages the custom BMS Syncade library and interfaces developed by the EMES Domain leads and their team.

Specific Responsibilities:

Solution owner and delivery lead for the EMES Library objects, various EMES interfaces and custom business capabilities.

Partner with Supply Chain, MS&T, and Manufacturing Operations to understand requirements and opportunities around EMES library objects and various interfaces to enable a seamless user experience.

Manage a large technical resource and test team to deliver on-time and on-budget projects.

Partner with Data Privacy Office and cybersecurity teams to improve the architecture and security of the EMES implementation.

Partner with other Enterprise Application teams to improve the architecture and reliability of the integrations between EMES and other Enterprise Applications to ensure a seamless user experience.

Define, manage, and deliver the EMES custom software and solutions roadmap to support changing/emerging technologies and the continuing maturity of digital manufacturing.

Design and manage EMES solutions that ensures seamless operation of EMES during an outage.

Design and manage a sampling master data management strategy that:

Maximizes productivity of business users who maintain data.

Minimizes and/or eliminates data duplication between systems.

Maximizes mistake proofing.

Assess the risk and impact that changes, patches, outages or other events can have to the EMES solution and the global network and define mitigation strategies.

Partner with and support other EMES delivery leads in managing the global EMES solution and roadmap.

Tier 3 escalation support of the EMES solution to minimize disruption to manufacturing and/or impact to product.

Support a knowledge management strategy including generating training content and mentoring.

Promote compliance with data integrity and computer system validation requirements and regulations.

Promote compliance by understanding change and the impact to the validated state of the application and underlying infrastructure.

Qualifications:

Bachelor of Science in Engineering, Computer Science or related fields with 10+ years\' Life Sciences industry experience and at least 10 years\xe2\x80\x99 experience in Emerson Syncade MES.

At least 7 years\xe2\x80\x99 direct experience designing, building, deploying and supporting automation and execution systems (Syncade, DeltaV, PI Data historian, etc.) in regulated manufacturing environments.

Strong domain expertise in the application of IT to manufacturing, including a broad understanding of processes and how they are supported by IT tools and systems.

Strong knowledge of regulatory landscape and demonstrated experience with software validation.

Proven track record of successful IT/automation project delivery.

Ability to work across global sites and cultures.

Ability to travel up to 10% domestically and internationally.
