We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Associate Behavioral Therapist to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in mental health counseling and demonstrate a commitment to providing high-quality care for individuals, particularly children and families. This role involves working collaboratively with patients to develop effective treatment plans, utilizing various therapeutic techniques to address behavioral and emotional challenges. We are seeking a AMFT or ASW to join our growing practice and provide services under the supervision of Clinical Psychologist. This is a per-diem position with a growing practice focused on a holistic approach to treating mental health.
Responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive assessments and diagnostic evaluations to determine client needs.
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on evidence-based practices.
Provide psychotherapy, including individual, group, and family counseling sessions.
Utilize techniques such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), motivational interviewing, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Mindfulness.
Offer support for clients dealing with PTSD, addiction, grief, and other mental health issues.
Collaborate with Supervising Psychologist and other members of the care team to deliver high quality care.
Maintain accurate medical documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care and case management.
Participate in clinical research and data collection to enhance therapeutic practices.
Provide Telehealth services on a regular basis.
Experience
A Masters Degree in psychology, social work, or marriage and family therapy.
Experience working with children and families in a clinical or outpatient setting is essential.
Familiarity with ICD-9 and ICD-10 coding for medical documentation purposes.
Interest in brain health and overall wellness is a plus.
Previous experience in inpatient settings or clinics is an advantage.
Proficiency in various therapeutic modalities such as art therapy, dance therapy, psychodynamic therapy, and group therapy will be considered an asset.
