THE ROLE:




The Associate Accountant will support the day-to-day financial operations of the company and ensure accuracy, consistency, and compliance across all accounting functions. You'll work closely with our Controller and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver clear financial support and help make sound business decisions.


This is a hands-on role -- perfect for someone who wants to grow within an accounting department while gaining exposure to the full accounting cycle at a rapidly scaling consumer brand.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:




AP/AR


Verify and enter vendor invoices Ensure invoices are accurately coded and approved Prepare and process vendor payments Reconcile AP Aging report and follow-up on outstanding invoices Process customer payments and apply them to the correct accounts Follow-up on outstanding customer invoices and collections Prepare and maintain AR Aging reports Communicate with vendors and customers to resolve discrepancies

Month-End Close


Ensure all transactions are accurately coded and processed Review and reconcile credit card transactions Review fixed asset purchases and reconcile to third party depreciation reports Assist in preparing monthly balance sheet reconciliations Support Controller with general analysis and ad-hoc requests as needed

SKILLS EXPERIENCE AND QUALITIES THAT WILL HELP YOU BE SUCCESSFUL:




1-3 years of experience in accounting or finance Strong working knowledge of QuickBooks and Bill.com (preferred) Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred) Excellent communication--written, verbal, and interpersonal Highly organized, with strong attention to detail and accuracy Comfortable with Excel/Google Sheets and financial modeling Team-oriented with a proactive, problem-solving attitude Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with integrity

SPECIAL CONSIDERATIONS:




While this role is based onsite, reliable home Wi-Fi is required in case remote work is needed occasionally

Pay Range: $60k-$80k commensurate with experience
