Teacher Unit A Salary Scale based on experience and degree.DefinitionThe Assistive Technology Specialist (AT Specialist) in Student Services will work with faculty and students to ensure that appropriate technology is accounted for, distributed, and understood in a manner that makes the technology a useful tool in the classroom and independent learning and work production by students.
The Assistive Technology Specialist will work with faculty in a collaborative manner and with students in the role of consultant and, at times, in providing direct services.SupervisionThe Assistive Technology Specialist will be jointly supervised by the Director of Student Services and the Technology Director.Job EnvironmentThe Assistive Technology Specialist will have a working space in one of the Northampton Public Schools buildings.
