Registered Nurse.

Our

Registered Nurse (RN) is responsible for residents' nursing care under the supervision of the Director of Health and Wellness. The RN provides leadership and strong communication for the Resident & Medication Aides at the Assisted Living and Memory Care levels. They will provide all of their responsibilities in a manner that is consistent with the philosophy of assisted living.

Job duties may include:

Assist and orient new residents to the facility, ensuring satisfactory integration into the community. Monitor resident service plans according to state regulations. Record information to determine quality of service to resident & direct caregivers to implement needed changes. Monitor medication regimen for residents & document resident's response. Follow through on medication change orders received from physician. Works with pharmacy to ensure appropriate handling, receiving, storing, & reordering medications. Administers medications/treatments according to physician orders when needed. Administers injections or treatments that are of medical necessity & require the skill of an RN. Performs on-call duties according to schedule & responds to staff in a timely manner when needed. Ensures & advocates proper policy & procedure in regard to facility attendance policy. Assist with coordination of temporary and permanent transfers or discharges to other facilities.
