ASSISTANT GOLF PROFESSIONAL OVERVIEW COEUR D\'ALENE, ID | Located on beautiful Lake Coeur d\'Alene in the panhandle of Idaho, The Coeur d\'Alene Resort Golf Course is one of the best conditioned golf courses in the country and home to the world\'s only moveable floating green. Established in 1991, our resort golf course is known for providing a great golf experience with hospitality minded staff and a course design to ensure a fun round for all skill types. With a healthy mix of day guests, resort guests, and members, we also host a few different group events and tournaments throughout our 7-month golf season. The Coeur d\'Alene Resort Golf course is looking for an Assistant Golf Professional to continue to enhance our guests\' day to day experience. This professional will be tasked with all duties related to pro shop operations including but not limited to: checking in golfers, yield management of the tee sheet, merchandising, assisting with golf events, and assisting with group bookings. Working directly with the Director of Golf, Head Golf Professional, and 1st Assistant Golf Professional they will aid in providing a 5 star guest experience during their round of golf. EXPERIENCE REQUIRED

• Class A PGA Professional or in the process of completing PGA PGM program.
• Experience in guest service, hospitality, tournament operations, merchandising
• Above average knowledge of golf, and golf equipment
• Three years of experience in the golf business
• Knowledge and experience operating POS applications. Experience with Opera is a plus
• Any experience with tournament / scheduling software such as Golf Genius, Event Pro 360, ect\xe2\x80\xa6

RESPONSIBILITIES Under the direction of the Director of Golf, Head Golf Professional, and the 1st Assistant Golf Professional, the assistant golf professional will help lead in the pro shop operations effort to ensure we are providing a world class experience for our guests using a professional, hospitality mindset.

• Bring positive energy as you work with our guests in the Pro Shop through the check-in and retail process
• Assist in management of the tee sheet
• Assist in tournament operations, billing, merchandising, scoring, enforcing policies, and servicing phone calls
• Assist in weekly events
• Assist in managing golf car fleet
• Assist in interdepartmental communications
• Lead in managing feedback from guests and employees

REQUIREMENTS

• Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds
• Available to work nights, weekends, and holidays
• Must be comfortable in fast-pace and at times high stress environment
• Must serve as a leader to our golf course team

• Full Time Employees are offered these benefits first of the month following 60 days of employment

• Must maintain a minimum of 30 hours per week or more.

• Variable hour team members could be eligible12 months after their date of hire, with supervisor approval, so long as they have averaged 30+ hours per week throughout their first year.

401K Plan:

• Team members are eligible to participate at the age of 21 or greater and at the 1st of the month following 60 days of employment.

• 2% match with a 4% contribution from the team member.

PTO:

• 6 months gets 7 PTO days - 728 hours (average 28 hours per week)

• 1 year gets 10 PTO days - 1,456 hours (average 28 hours per week)

• 2-4 years gets 15 PTO days - 1,456 hours (average 28 hours per week)

• 5+ years gets 20 PTO days - 1,200 hours (average 23 hours per week)

Holiday Pay:

• Hourly team members who work on Thanksgiving and Christmas will be paid their wage at time and a half.
