Student Conduct and Academic Integrity:
Student Conduct and Academic Integrity (SCAI), a division of the Office of Student Rights and Responsibilities, provides educational opportunities that foster individual growth, ethical development and personal accountability while promoting the core values of the university: integrity, scholarship, community, creativity, and excellence.

The Opportunity:
The Assistant Director, Student Conduct will assist in the administration of university affairs and serve as a resource on disciplinary matters for students, faculty, and staff within the university community. The Assistant Director in Student Conduct and Academic Integrity is a mission-critical role that oversees the administration of university student conduct and academic integrity affairs and serve as a resource on disciplinary matters for students, faculty, and staff.

Responsibilities:


  • Facilitate the Student Conduct and Academic Integrity process for students and student organizations by conducting meetings describing the process, student/student organizations rights, discussing allegations of misconduct, and coordinating options for resolution of disciplinary charges.

  • Conduct extensive investigations of disciplinary referrals and serve as an informal hearing officer.

  • Responsible for Outreach to members of the University Community regarding the Student Conduct Review Process and Organizational Conduct Review Process.

  • Oversees the recruitment, selection, and training of student conduct hearing board members.

  • Assists with the oversight of the coordination of enrichment programs and development of publications and materials for members of the university community regarding the office of Student Conduct and Academic Integrity.

  • Assist with case processing, monthly reports, presentations, new program development and other developmental assessment goals.

  • Assists with assessment process and provides leadership in the development of departmental assessment goals.

  • Provide oversight of the Academic Misconduct Process.

  • Serves on division and university committees, as needed, and performs other duties as assigned by the Director, Student Conduct and Academic Integrity.


Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor\'s and 4+ years of relevant experience or Masters degree and 2+ years of relevant experience with at least 1+ year(s) of leadership experience

Preferred Qualifications:
Master\'s degree in Higher Education Administration or related field with two or more years\xe2\x80\x99 experience working in Student Conduct or related office.
