Position Summary
Reporting to the Controller, this role will be responsible for
day-to-day accounting operations
, supportingmonth-end and year-end processes
, and stepping into a leadership role as needed. We're looking for someone who isproactive, detail-oriented, and comfortable in a fast-paced, multi-entity environment

Key Responsibilities
Perform
journal entries, bank reconciliations, and general ledger maintenance
Manageaccounts payable and receivable
; follow up on outstanding balances and build strong relationships with client payables departments Assist withmonth-end and year-end closings
, ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting Prepare for and supportannual audits
Provide leadership and oversight within the department in theabsence of the Controller
Participate in ongoing efforts to improve accounting procedures, systems, and internal controls Support special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as needed####
Required Qualifications
3-5+ years of accounting experience
, preferably in amulti-site, service-based
ormanaged services
environment Strong working knowledge ofQuickBooks
andMicrosoft Excel
Experience withaccounts receivable management
, including client communications and collections Excellent communication and organizational skills Ability towork independently and take initiative
in a team-based setting Comfortable navigating the accounting needs of agrowing, hands-on operation

Preferred Qualifications
Experience in the
contract food service
, hospitality, or healthcare industry Exposure tomulti-entity accounting
Prior experienceleading or supervising accounting team members
