Job Duties
The Assistant Cheer Coach is responsible for assisting the Head Coach with the daily management and administration of the Texas State Spirit program in accordance with all NCAA, Conference and University rules and regulations. Specific areas of responsibility include practice, home events, away events, and competition preparation and strategy; assessment and recruitment of prospective student-athletes; monitoring academic progress of cheer student-athletes; community outreach; program specific and Athletic Department public relations, marketing and fundraising; and other duties as assigned.
