We are seeking a highly motivated, customer-oriented
Asset Management Specialist
to join our team. The selected candidate will support different agencies in the federal government. This is an important position that will have a large impact on an already successful organization.
To be considered for this position, US Citizenship and an active Secret security clearance is required. This is a funded position and is contingent upon verification of a security clearance prior to starting with Cloudshape.
Required Support Includes but Is Not Limited To:
Provide
Tier 1 and Tier 2 support
for employees experiencing IT issues.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with
desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripheral hardware
.
Assist users with
software applications
, including email, collaboration tools, and office productivity software.
Configure, deploy, and maintain
corporate devices
(Windows, Mac, mobile devices).
Manage
device inventory
, including tracking, staging, and assigning hardware.
Apply
patches, updates, and antivirus software
to devices.
Support remote device management and troubleshoot remote connectivity issues.
Diagnose and resolve
network, VPN, and connectivity issues
.
Assist with
password resets, account lockouts, and access permissions
.
Escalate unresolved or complex issues to
Tier 2/3 IT specialists
or vendors.
Required Qualifications:
Candidate must possess a Real ID Driver's License
US Citizen with an active Secret security clearance.
Associates degree in a technical discipline or 2 years of experience in lieu of a degree
1 + years of experience
Proficiency with
Windows and Mac OS
, mobile devices (iOS/Android), and standard office applications.
Knowledge of
network basics
(TCP/IP, Wi-Fi, VPN).
Familiarity with
device management tools
(SCCM, Intune, JAMF, or similar).
Experience with
ticketing systems
(ServiceNow, Jira, Remedy, etc.).
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Excellent customer service skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
Ability to work in a team environment
