Role Summary

The Real Estate Americas Digital Strategy and Business Optimization group is seeking an Associate level candidate to join our team and work on various strategic initiatives. You will work directly with front, middle, and back-office functions in the business as well as with external parties (partners, property managers, etc) to lead multiple projects focused on organizational and operational strategy, process transformation, digital and data driven solutions, and overall efficiency gains. The initiatives are aimed towards creating an integrated platform of processes, systems and data that supports Real Estate America\'s business objectives. Job Responsibilities

  • Support a minimum of 2 strategic projects at a time, taking an active role in the process and project management
  • Analyze and learn business processes to develop a view and work with business stakeholders and your leadership to recommend appropriate solutions
  • Create deliverables including process maps, data analysis, operating model recommendations, strategic and initiative decks for executive consumption, etc.
  • Research industry best practices, service providers, and digital / data solutions to help us manage our assets more efficiently

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills
  • 3 - 5 years of experience in an analytically rigorous role
  • Demonstrable experience/skills in initiative facilitation, process transformation and stakeholder management
  • Program and project management of complex tasks with a highly structured and disciplined approach
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including experience creating presentations and decks articulating the strategy and status of initiatives to senior level participants
  • Work effectively with peers and senior team members in a team-oriented environment
Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Experience in the real estate asset management industry including across property sectors and asset types (real estate equity and debt) highly preferred
  • Familiarity and experience with third-party real estate tools is a plus - e.g. Argus, Yardi/MRI, and other Real Estate/Proptech Applications
  • A consulting background is a plus
  • Experience with data management initiatives is a plus
  • Experience with Portfolio Modeling, Visualization, and BI tools is a plus
