The Asset Based Lending (ABL) organization is part of Credit Markets within Commercial Banking. ABL is responsible for originating, structuring, and the ongoing portfolio management of asset based loans within MMBSI, CCBSI, and CIB. ABL Credit Markets is a team within ABL that is focused on the structuring and syndication efforts of ABL transactions throughout the firm.

As an Associate within the Asset Based Lending Credit Markets team, you will gain critical skills in deal structuring, syndication, financial analysis, and overall risk assessment. You will work with senior originators supporting the Asset Based Lending transaction/syndication and are part of broader transaction teams including debt capital markets, commercial & investment banking coverage, and credit.

Job responsibilities

  • Coordinate and streamline the syndication effort of the Asset Based Lending product across JPMorgan Chase
  • Significant interaction with clients, sponsors, lenders, and senior leaders within JPMorgan Chase
  • Support credit in the structuring and diligence of each transaction
  • Working on marketing materials, presentations, lender communication, and loan documentation
  • Data analytics and market comps
  • Primary responsibility of reviewing work prepared by analysts

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in investment banking or commercial banking
  • Excellent quantitative and analytical skills with the ability to synthesize large amounts of information and help develop innovative client solutions
  • Knowledge of Commercial Banking, credit and debt capital markets products
  • Strong credit acumen and knowledge
  • Develop capability to run less complex transactions with minimal oversight
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Well organized and able to efficiently manage projects with minimal supervision
  • Ability to work well under pressure, multi-task and meet time sensitive deadlines
  • Excellent presentation skills; comfortable presenting to client senior management, investors and senior members of the firm
  • Bachelor\'s degree required
