We have dozens of ready-mix and asphalt production facilities around the state of Iowa. Our massive fleet of dump and ready-mix trucks serves thousands of job sites every year. In addition, our concrete and asphalt paving divisions, along with our various other crews, complete hundreds of projects every season.
Our Eastern Iowa Asphalt Division is hiring an Experienced Asphalt Paving Equipment Operator in Camanche, Iowa.

Responsibilities

Follow project instructions from Foreman Unload and carry materials on construction sites Operate Paving Equipment Direct traffic safety around the construction site Signal operators to guide them in moving equipment Safely operate hand tools

Qualifications:

Must be 18 years of age 1+ year of hands-on construction experience preferred Ability to physically stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds Must possess knowledge of materials, equipment, and tools used throughout the construction trades Must be dependable, trustworthy, and possess a positive and productive attitude Must be able to work well with co-workers in a team environment Demonstrate strong awareness of safety practices Willingness to learn the operation of various pieces of equipment Reliable vehicle with good driving record Must have a Class A or B CDL. Must be able to pass a pre-work physical screening and a drug test.
