Duties

Patrol designated areas regularly to deter unauthorized access and identify potential security threats Monitor surveillance systems such as CCTV cameras to oversee activity and detect suspicious behavior Respond swiftly and effectively to alarms, disturbances, or emergencies using established protocols Conduct thorough inspections of personnel, visitors, and vehicles to prevent theft, vandalism, or safety hazards Collaborate with law enforcement or emergency responders during incidents requiring external assistance Maintain detailed incident reports, shift logs, and activity records for accountability and review Enforce security policies while managing conflicts with professionalism and tact

Skills

Proven experience in security roles with an emphasis on armed patrols and incident response Strong knowledge of law enforcement procedures, conflict management, and loss prevention strategies Proficiency in surveillance technology including CCTV systems and other monitoring tools First aid certification and CPR training to provide immediate assistance during emergencies Background in military service or law enforcement enhances situational awareness and discipline Excellent communication skills for clear reporting and effective interaction with team members and the public Ability to remain calm under pressure while managing potentially volatile situations confidently
