As a Area Strategy Lead-Manufacturing you drive consumption and enable our customers to realize value from their Business Applications (Biz Apps) solutions and Unified Support investments. Leveraging your Biz Apps expertise, you help territory teams develop execution plans for the manufacturing, drive execution across Biz Apps Customer Success Unit (CSU) strategy pillars, regularly engage Areas to ensure eligible customers are adopting Enhanced Support offerings, provide Customer Success technical sales support, manage area escalations and identify expansion opportunities to support sales growth. You will lead by example through direct involvement with customers. Responsibilities:

  • Driving Consumption: Manage the consumption of Biz Apps solutions and Enhanced Support contracts to achieve business goals. Coach the territory peers to develop opportunities to expand Enhanced Support sales and accelerate consumption. Build effective internal relationships with key stakeholders in your territory to enable effective planning and execution. Coordinate internally on Partner incentives and priority Partner alignment. Know your numbers, hit your targets/metrics and drive an effective business rhythm.
  • Customer Centricity: Work closely with territory peers to land Enhanced Support offerings in every new target opportunity and next best offering with existing customers.
  • Customer Satisfaction: Ensure rapid unblocking of issues as 1st corporate point of contact in the territory. Work with senior Architects to identify resolutions to issues blocking go-lives of customer success projects by leveraging their Biz Apps technical and functional subject matter expertise. Share technical feedback with product teams. Ensure high quality customer success plans in territories
  • Operational Excellence: Use Business Applications skills/knowledge to guide area resources on strategic actions to drive Business Application consumption and renewals. Drive a culture that creates partnerships between technical and business decision makers. Drive a culture that tracks and manages customer/partner expectations well.
  • Functional & Business Value Practice: Foster a continuous self-learning culture education and knowledge sharing. Grow and help make your peers better through active and visible engagement in the community. Influence and contribute to functional and value realization strategy for the business.
Qualifications:

Required/Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 7+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years people management experience, including managing consultant practice managers, technical sales managers, and/or technical architect managers.
Additional or Preferred Qualifications
  • Bachelor\'s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, Liberal Arts, or related field AND 12+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, information technology (IT) consulting/support, systems administration, network operations, software development/support, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
  • OR Master\'s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, Business, or related field AND 8+ years experience in cloud/infrastructure technologies, technology solutions, practice development, architecture, and/or consulting
  • OR equivalent experience.
  • 5+ years people management experience, including managing consultant practice managers, technical sales managers, and/or technical architect managers
  • 6+ years experience working in a customer-facing role (e.g., internal and/or external).
  • 6+ years experience leading technical projects, teams, or functions.
  • Professional & Technical:
  • Deep understanding of cloud customer engagement
  • Experience successfully collaborating and managing by influence
  • Fluency in SaaS solutions from Microsoft or its key competitors
  • Demonstrable product experience with one or more of the Microsoft Dynamics 365 apps
  • Cultural awareness and appreciation for diversity
Cloud Solution Architecture IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $124,800 - $242,600 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $159,000 - $264,000 per year.
