Job Summary

Area Manager II

Kellogg Garden Products, a family-owned and operated company in business for 100 years, is seeking an Area Manger II to work 32-40 hours a week. This position is responsible for servicing, merchandising, and promoting the sale of Kellogg branded products within an assigned territory. You will assist consumers in selecting products appropriate to their project needs through asking questions and active listening, educating, and recommending the benefits of Kellogg branded products.

Main Objective:

Increase sales of Kellogg Garden products through in-store merchandising and selling.

Servicing product's home locations, building and stocking displays, and cleaning products Managing inventories, meeting with store management, and helping to answer general gardening questions for store personnel and consumers Assisting customers with their soil selection Promote Kellogg garden products (soils)
Job Requirements:

Outdoor work environment Ability to effectively communicate with customers and store personnel Ability to stand, bend, stoop, climb and lift heavy objects weighing 50 lbs. or more consistently Must have a personal smartphone (Android 4.0 and up or iPhone 9.0 or later) with data Reliable vehicle Valid driver's license Proof of car insurance Clean driving record
Education & Experience:

High School diploma or GED 1 to 2 years previous sales or retail experience Garden experience is preferred but not required
Schedule:

Weekdays and some Weekends in Spring
Hours Per Week:

32 to 40 hours per week based on time of year
Hourly Pay Rate:

$21.00 to $23.00 p/hour, based on experience
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
